As a member of 1% for the Planet, NatureLab Tokyo promises to donate 1% of all sales to environmental and sustainable causes.

Through 1% for the Planet, we were able to connect with Yoro no Mori, an organization that aligns with our heritage and values.
Based in Doshi-mura in Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan, Yoro no Mori’s goals are to redevelop and revitalize untended forests in rural areas, build new communal spaces, and improve biodiversity.

Yoro no Mori organizes programs around local forest environments, including the following:
- Forest management (thinning and planting)
- Surveying local flora and fauna
- Night hikes
- Guest lectures and research sessions
- Honey gathering & local produce tasting sessions
- Restoring traditional culture
